Perhaps a cheesy title, but it is apropos for the color palette and time of this image set. Plus, the residency I am on is about getting back to basics.
I picked up a dslr when I returned to the city for a day. After reading, sketching and writing, photography is a welcome break—to snap the moment with a push of a finger. Each medium has its own way of capturing our world. And picking up some extra baggage was a good move. It’s hard not to be a creative omnivore when I am surrounded by beauty like this.
