When I think of a professional, these three attributes come to mind:
- Dedicated
- Passionate
- Good
As Chicago swells with 45,000 runners from across the globe for the Bank of America Marathon, I couldn’t help think about what separates the runners that start in the front from the rest. Ultimately, what makes a runner go pro? What makes anyone go pro in what they set out to do?
Whatever profession, in order to be good you have to work at it, be dedicated. In order to put in those hours, you need to have passion. And if you meet all three, the chances are you’ll have a fulfilling and rewarding career. Your career may just be one of your greatest marathons.
