Midtown on the Move

Shortly after landing in the Big O, I had the honor of motivating Omahans to leave their car behind with Midtown on the Move. Most people use their car to get around here, but there are neighborhoods where residents don’t need one and can walk, bike, bus or rideshare instead. I drew on my hometown Chicago commuting experience and understood what utilizing public transit truly means for a community and lifestyle and dived in. I explored and photographed each of the five neighborhoods that make up Midtown. The photos from that day became the base for all campaign materials. The logo was a result of thinking about how one moves up and down the streets and the intersectionality of the initiative. I worked closely with our project manager and content strategist to refine and organize the copy for our materials: website, direct mail, and social media.
